The location was excellent, located on the shores of Lake Lucerne and room was impeccably well kept
Great place, three is a bus stop just outside and near a several entertainment activities, the room was very clean
We enjoyed the view of the lake. Thanks for a helpful service, would recommend.
There was nothing I didnt like.
Just 10 minutes walk to Seeburgturm, also close enough to many other tourist areas. All in all an enjoyable experience. Everything exceeded all expectations.
Perfect location. Directly at the lake with an amazing view. Very nice staff. Along the lake you can walk very nice into the city (about 1/2 hour). If you want to go by bus, you can take the bus 24 directly at the hotel. You do not have to buy tickets. The overnight stay prices include tickets for the public transport. In addition, there is free WLAN in almost all places in Lucerne. Good breakfast with enough choice. Very nice and inexpensive hotel bar directly at the lake with great facilities
Parts of our room "204" have not yet been renovated (toilet room) and are therefore not quite up to date. Unfortunately, it is also very sensitive. From the neighbours one has heard everything (also toilets with rather unpleasant noises). Therefore earplugs are strongly recommended
The location of the hotel is unique. Although a road runs between the breakfast terrace with a direct view of the lake and Lake Lucerne, it does not disturb the overall impression. We had a room with a lateral view to the lake. Well, the direct view to the lake would have been surely even better, but for one night, this room fully satisfied us. We found the modern extension in the entrance area very successful. In addition, the old romantic facade of the adjacent villa, where a wedding was celebrated during our visit without being disturbed in any way by the loud celebrations. - Really beautiful. Furthermore, there is a great beach bar on the opposite side of the street directly at the lake, which we believe also belongs to the hotel. Unfortunately, everything is, as generally known, not very cheap in Switzerland. So we decided not to have our first drink in this bar right at the lake. There is a bus stop with a fast connection to the city centre right in front of the hotel entrance. A free bus ticket for guests in Lucerne is offered at the hotel reception when checking in. Outward and return journey shortly before midnight worked out without any problems. Therefore highly recommended!
The bathroom was clean, but urgently (!!!!) in need of renovation. The tiles had many quirks, the black and white mosaic on the floor and the red wall tiles are slowly becoming modern again. This bathroom did absolutely not fit the room's interior anymore and definitely not the modern new extension of the lobby and the restaurant. Unfortunately, the bar, where there was really not much going on, had closed much too early. We immediately left the part of the bar in which the bar itself was accommodated with a row of bar stools on which we actually wanted to take a seat, as the acoustics there were unbearable for me. Something urgently has to be changed. Thereupon, we had a last drink in one of the small tables.
It's okay for that kind of money.
It was very short stay but very nice staff, hotel and very good location.
Beautiful hotel great location just outside of the city, but on the ferry stop. Also walkable into the Lucerne attractions. Don't miss the Lion and the covered bridge and the incredible cruise around Lake Lucerne with a view of Mount Paluis.
It has a wonderful view of the lake and the alps as well as mountains. The sunsets were incredible.
Expensive for what you get. There was no airconditioning for the amount we paid. I asked for double and got twin beds.
Lovely hotel - get a lake view room and wake up to a beautiful sight. Actually liked that the hotel wasn't in the old town itself as it was nice and quiet. Bus gets there quickly and promptly shows up on schedule (this is Switzerland..). Breakfast was very good.
Friendly staff, nice location directly on the lake (get a room with a lake view).
Walking into the lobby/reception of the Seeburg, gives one the illusion [and I stress the word illusion] that you are entering a modern well run four star hotel. After all, the decor is clean and modern and the reception staff are efficient and friendly. The illusion is diluted, hoswever, after entering the antiquated lift and sadly shattered after entering your room. There is no correllation between the facade of the lobby and the cold hard smelly reality of the dirty tiny room. The bed ensemble had been splattered by a fluid [supposedly bodily] that had had plenty of time to mature. The bathroom was tiny and from the 1920's. The toilet was so close to the sink I chose to do my teeth using a bottle of evian whilst on the road. The carpet smelt and needed changing sometime during the 1960s. The real grate, however, was that while we waited for our bill at checkout we were entertained by a promotional video on the tv behind the receptionist's head raving about how spacious and modern the rooms are. Be warned : lovely city shame about the hotel!!!
The location is good where we can see a beautiful Lucerne lake with Mount Pilatus against our eyes every morning, we traveled a few minutes from , town by bus easily even with our luggages, the room is functional compared to its rated, we'll check in again if we come back to Lucerne.
quiet & clean hotel with amazing view. excellent breakfast & dinner in the see restaurant.
small room & the tiny TV.
